I look at it like this. If GOW...does all that...then can you imagine what Bungie has up their sleeve? Really now. We don't know anything about features, game modes, ect...for Halo 3. So we can't compare or say one will be the killer app. but I can say GOW is going to be the best game for a while just from what they have announced. Lets wait and see what Bungie is up to before we call something the Halo 3 killer. lol....
Yeah if they don't launch in November. Thats it. 3rd party companies will flee, some have already stopped developement. And this Christams will be dominated by xbox 360. Halo isn't the God of games. I like all types of games. But all games get repetative. It just depends on what you like personally. I tell you what though. Yeah I seen the Tekken ps3 screen shots....I just don't understand. Screen shots are supose to get you excited. Those screens for Teken make me wonder. And as far as Kilzone goes, I read that the reason there was no sign of killzone at E3 this year is because in the form its in now...People would have bashed SOny big gime. Take note. Now thats a screen shot. Unbelievalbe detail, lighting, ect. WOW...and thats using the IN GAME graphics engine. Unbelievable. One thing about Halo games is the cut scenes and game play always look identical. No let downs once the game starts from CGI to gameplay like sony brand games. Always a pleasure to see the cut scene and then say...OMG the game has started and I'm playing what I just saw. Simply Amazing. Halo 3 is far from done but the screen shot looks like its done...
Why do the ps3 games have so much jaggies and why are the textures so dull? There is only a few months to go till launch. I'm confused. Why show screen shots if the game isn't ready to show? I agree. These type of games are fun. Fast pace racing off road. I love that type of game. And the screen shots for motorstorm look like it would be fun. They are both worried about the ps3 sales if they don't do a dramatic price drop in 2007. And it won't happen folks. But its what I have been saying. When the ps3 hits 300 dollars. Thats when they can regain their mass market appeal. The only problem is at 600 dollars they loose 350 per console. Jaggies? And the textures look blah to say the least. And the overly blurry blur effects. I don't know. It does look like it may be fun. Microsoft and Direct TV joining forces. There will be an update in the xbox 360 dash where there will be another blade for direct tv. So you can watch and download shows and movies in full HD. Its suppose to happen in September when the release the dvi or hdmi adapter for the 360 and hd dvd player add on.

Assuming game developers choose to take advantage of 36- and 48-Bit color, hdmi 1.3 has the ability to output such a broader color spectrum. The Xbox 360, which will not be able to transmit such signals over component cables. If the promised, but still not officially announced, Xbox 360 DVI wire comes out, it too will not have the bandwidth to carry the high-Bit color that HDMI 1.3 supports.
